Contribute to the CLD

The Comparative Legislators Database (CLD) is a team effort comprised of volunteer developers from multiple academic institutions. If you would like to contribute to the database by adding a new legislature, or adding data for a new legislative term, you can follow the instructions in this tutorial.

Integrating your database with the CLD

The CLD is a relational database. The joins in the database are based on two keys - the Wikipedia page ID or the Wikidata ID of the individual legislators. If your database contains either key, you can easily integrate with the CLD.
